1. Did Groundswell break up?

Yes, it is true. Groundswell did indeed break up. John Penney had decided to further his education and focus on other areas of life. We did manage to put together a Groundswell full length which is now available, go to the Gig store to check it out.

Yes, we know. The EAT box set has been "coming soon" for the entire existence of Gig Records. Even still there is no release date set. We are a small label with limited resources and we have been forced to shift our priorities to our current and active roster. That combined with some legal issues needed to be ironed out equals the dreaded tag line- "coming soon".

3. Can I submit my demo?

Yes, and although it takes a while we listen to ALL the demos we received. However, we get so many that you may not get a personal response from us.

4. How do I buy Gig stuff?

You can order online securely at the Gig Store or any fine online store like Amazon, CDnow, etc. Our US distribution company is Sumthing distribution and over in Europe we use Cargo. You should be able to get our product at one of your finer record stores. In not, don't leave the store until you demand they carry Gig product. For a store listing click here.

5. Can I get promos sent to me for my magazine/radio show, etc?

Send a detailed request of what you would like and the organization you represent, and please make sure it is on your company/magazine/radio station letterhead and fax it to 732-701-9777

6. Can I use a Gig song in my film or tv show?

No, but we are always looking for great interns. We currently have some wonderful college students working for "knowledge" or "experience" and some college credit. If you are a college student in the area we might be able to set up an unpaid internship for you. Just talk to your college and give us a call at the office during business hours.

Are they going to do any US dates?

Both bands have reunion shows planned for 2002. Neds are coming to the US in the summer. We at GIG have very little if anything to do with these shows so please don't contact us about it.
