Michael's fascination with music began as a young child. His father, a recording artist for various labels throughout most of the 60's, passed the torch encouraging his son to pursue a music career. Michael began playing guitar at 6 years old and was writing songs by the age of 9. Before high school, he had recorded 2 independently released albums, performed at some of New York City's most prestigious clubs, including CBGBs and had written over two hundred songs.
