BIOGRAPHY :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Stickboy started lighting up the live music scene in the late nineties. Big Jerm, JT, Danny Fonorow and Jason Borgen make up the group that many industry professionals say is unbelievable. The tightness, harmonies, and energetic stage presence, put this band above the rest. Stickboy goes into clubs with the confidence that only comes from playing an extreme number of shows per year. This band has the gel, sound, and stage show that will make you come back for more.

Stickboy has drawn on their mutual love and respect for emo, punk, and 80's glam rock to invent a sound that is truly their own. I will not tell you it sounds like this band or that band. Stickboy is just plain, in your face, great Rock-N-Roll.

Stickboy puts their hearts into every show be it for 20 people or 2500 people, everyone will get the same high energy show and at the end of the set, they will know who Stickboy is!

Stickboy released their first full length "Sings My Song" in 2001, selling all available copies in no time. The reviews were strong and the fan support grew. Now on the verge of releasing their second full length "Things They Never Taught Me In School" toward the end of 2003, one thing has changed. Stickboy has become part of the Gig Records Family of New Jersey. Indian and David saw the energy and talent these fine musicians have and did not waste anytime to offer them a deal. You can bet the combination of Gig Records and Stickboy will be nothing but explosive. It has already proven beneficial to both parties as 96.7 The Buzzard (Clear Channel) in Greenville, SC is already spinning the first single off the album, "If I Lied". Craig Debolt - Program Director said, "You guys are light years ahead of the others". Craig stuck his neck out for us because he believes in Stickboy, which reminds me, the bands primary slogan is simple "we do not disappoint"! Look for this album in stores soon, as the compliments are already coming in from people in the industry that have had a chance to hear it prior to it's release.

Stickboy has lit up the East Coast playing with some of the hottest bands including Third Eye Blind, Bret Michaels, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Lit, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Nine Days, 2 Skinnee J's, Brian Vander Ark of the Verve Pipe and many more. They have also rocked with some of the finest indie talent such as Superdrag, Weekend Excursion, Ultimate Fakebook and The Jealous Sound, who spent their summer on tour with the Foo Fighters.

Stickboy has also received air play on a number of local/regional shows, college radio, internet radio (www.realrockradio.net) and is even being spun by a number of mobile special event DJs.

The Buzz is growing and it has really paid off. Putting them in venues such as Magnolia Street Pub- Spartanburg, CJ's Landing- Buckhead, Atlanta, Ziggy's- Winston Salem, the world famous CBGBs -NYC, Out of Bounds- Richmond, VA, Don Hills-NY and on New Years Eve 2003, The Handlebar in Greenville, SC. They have also played many festivals including Belle Chere, Freedom Weekend Aloft, The Day of Portugal Festival, Catawba College Spring Fling, Clemson's Death in The Valley, Heavy Rebel Weekender, City Stage, etc.

Stickboy has also enjoyed inclusion on several compilation CDs and won the National Band of the Week Contest sponsored by Rolling Stone Magazine and Jim Beam. Their endorsements include Jackson Drums, Germino Amplification, and Getto Gear Clothing.

Stickboy is tearing up the East Coast, gaining fans and friends with each show. Come out and see for yourself what the BUZZ is all about.
